The Only Mortal in Heaven, Episode 8: Both at Once

Earth. A life of her own. No more hunger. Asmodea wanted that long before she wanted William. 'So you do want me.' 'You're a nice bonus.' The rite needs both guardians, so in Episode 8 the angel and the demoness press their palms to his chest. Angel speaks the words, calling on the light she was made from and the fire Asmodea was born in, asking his heart to remember how to beat.

Light flares under their hands, then fades to nothing. Asmodea reminds them words were never enough; one spell cannot release their power. So she climbs into William's lap and starts peeling off her leather while Angel protests. Her eyes burn red as she turns and invites Angel to join them. That slow peel, that red-eyed turn, is the loop. The full scene is where the rite gets serious.
