The Only Mortal in Heaven, Episode 5: Even Angels Get Hungry

Blood when he coughs, and no one can say why. Episode 5 picks up with William coughing red while Angel sits him by the fountain. 'Stay here. I'll find something that helps.' She hurries off, but strange sounds drift through the marble halls, and he cannot keep still. He follows them to a half-open door and sees angels wrapped around each other, eyes glowing blue as something bright slides between them.

That doorway glimpse is the loop: blue light, tangled limbs, a mortal frozen in the gap. Angel finds him there, flushed. 'I told you to wait.' She pulls him away, upset he learned this so early. Now he needs one answer: does she do that too? She promises to tell him, just not here, and leads him by the hand into the garden. The tease is the door. The payoff is her answer.
